Creative anniversary gifts

In 1969, my parents celebrated their 25th. It was my father who came up with a creative anniversary gift idea for my Mom. He went out to the garage and presented his gift. A corner hutch for Mom's kitchen.

It's just a piece of furniture. However, as the years went by, this hutch traveled to my home and now stands happily in my daughter's kitchen. Her children have something that belonged to their great-grandparents.
